Jack Miller absen on Austrian GP and couldn’t join
the race because his condition not well to race and fight.
After the summer break, Jack Miller (Estrella Galicia
0,0 Marc VDS) was finally back to full fitness after a motocross accident in
pre-season had left the Aussie facing a long road to full recovery -although
that didn’t stop the Queenslander taking a spectacular wet weather win in the
Dutch GP.
The Red Bull Ring is a venue that Miller had experience of in the IDM
on much lighter machinery, and the stage was set for a good second half of the
season – until a highside crash saw the Australian suffer a hairline fracture
of the T6 vetebrae and a hairline fracture in the radius bone of his right
wrist, ruling him out. Miller will now undergo an MRI scan and then a medical
check to determine his fitness for the next race in Brno.
"This is not the way I wanted to start the
second half of the season but that's the way it is. It's a shame it didn't work
out for me today but I'll keep giving it 100% and now I'm hoping to be fit to
race in Brno next week, as I really like that track. I banged my foot and
that's a bit sore, as is my wrist and vertebrae with the small fractures but
hopefully I can heal quickly” Said Miller
